2D Animation

Ken Burns Effect

I created this video first in Adobe Photoshop then in After Effects. I had to create short eight-second video with the Ken Burn’s Effect where it looks like the background is moving to give the viewer this 3D effect.

How to Title Sequence II

For my second how-to title sequence, I designed a series of parallaxes. I was inspired by the title sequence from the movie The Greatest Game. When I was coming up with ideas for this title sequence I knew I wanted to do something totally different from my first title sequence I had created and I also wanted to design something totally different from what any of my fellow classmates were thinking about designing.

Diorama

The Diorama was assignment I created in After Effects during Associates degree. I thought the solar system would make a good diorama and having the Death Star from Star Wars popping up and acting like Jaws, then destroying Pluto to become the ninth planet showed my sense of humor. I created the diorama using both Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.

James Bond Dr. No Movie Title

The James Bond Dr. No movie title was something I designed on my own. I wanted to do some further work in the After Effects, while thinking ahead of having another piece to add to my portfolio. I designed this in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.

Halloween Diorama

This is a diorama I created in Adobe After Effects while pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in my Motion Graphics during my second quarter. I thought that Halloween would make for a good subject for my latest diorama. I really thought that this diorama was a major improvement from the one I designed during my Associates degree. I used Photoshop and Illustrator to design the assets to be animated for the diorama. In this diorama I wanted to show some camera movement and a little more 3D depth compared to the previous diorama, while also making the diorama a little fun. To learn a little more about this design check out my case study on it on the case study page.

How to Title Sequence

I created these titles in conjunction with my “How to play the Blues scale video.” The assignment was to create a title sequence that supported the how-to video. I designed the title in After Effects along with Photoshop and Illustrator. The intent of the design was to give viewers a sense that they were looking at a old music sheet score with a modern feel.

Space Animation

This an Animation I created at the beginning of my Bachelors degree just for for fun for my portfolio. This animation is a tribute to the opening of the film Alien, which happens to be one of my favorite science fiction movies.
